As adults age in place or disabilities worsen, homes may fall into disrepair or need accessibility modifications. Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley helps keep home a safe place for older adults, adults with disabilities or veterans — repairing homes, revitalizing communities and rebuilding lives.
Through its Healthy Homes for Older Adults program, the organization is providing home repairs and accessibility modifications for low-income older adults in Santa Clara County. Modifications are tailored to each person’s needs, to improve living conditions, improve health and safety, and prevent falls and accidents.
Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley’s work is improving economic stability for residents of Santa Clara County, identified as a critical need in our 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment.
