Mountain View, CA - November 6, 2013 - El Camino Hospital today announced that one of its advertising campaigns was recently awarded a bronze at the second annual Multicultural Health Marketing National Awards, which took place last month during the Multicultural Health National Marketing Conference in Washington, D.C.
The four-ad print campaign and two-ad radio campaign targets consumers within the Chinese community. The ad campaign features El Camino Hospital physicians of Chinese origin against a backdrop of the city Mountain View to remind consumers that El Camino Hospital is part of the fabric of the community. Accompanying text, in Chinese, highlights El Camino Hospital’s expertise in orthopedics, heart & vascular, stroke and minimally invasive technologies. The tagline: dedicated to you in every aspect, so you can have peace of mind was intended to give the community confidence in El Camino Hospital’s services and capabilities.
“Our research showed us that the hospital’s perception within the Chinese community was limited to maternity and minor emergencies,” said Chris Ernst, vice president of Marketing & Communications for El amino Hospital. “The goal of this campaign was to build brand association as a leading high acuity hospital in Silicon Valley within this growing community by communicating our expertise in treating Chinese-prone diseases using innovative technology capabilities.”
The advertising campaign was created by DAE Advertising, an agency focused on creating culturally relevant and impactful advertising, specifically for Asian communities.
The Multicultural Health National Marketing Conference is presented by DTC Perspectives.
