Radiation Oncology (primary)
Dr. Khuntia comes from the University of Wisconsin where he was an Associate Professor of Human Oncology. At Wisconsin, he served as the Residency Program Director and also course director for Oncology at the medical school.

Dr. Khuntia is a recognized national and international leader in the management of brain tumors, lung cancer, and head and neck cancer. He currently serves and has served as the prinicple investigator in several multi-institutional randomized trials. He serves and has served as the refresher course speaker in both lung cancer and brain tumors at the American Society of Radiation Oncology meetings.

He has helped pioneer a variety of procedure designed to deliver radiation therapy in a more targeted fashion, including techniques such as radiosurgery, images guided radiation therapy, lung brachytherapy, and intensity modulated radiation therapy. He continues to be a speaker on such topics both nationally and internationally. Further, he serves as an examiner for the American Board of Radiology.
