Community Benefit Program

In addition to providing high-quality medical care to our community, El Camino Hospital commits resources to our community for health education and disease prevention, particularly to the underserved and at risk. Through our Community Benefit Program, El Camino Hospital offers grants and sponsorships to programs that meet the specific needs of our local population.

Eligible Programs

Eligible organizations include nonprofits, government-sponsored health programs, school districts and community coalitions with a history of service to the residents of our community.

To qualify for funding, your program must address an identified health need within one of the following three funding priorities:

  • Healthy Body
  • Healthy Mind
  • Healthy Community 

Programs should be effective, open to collaboration, efficient and able to demonstrate measurable success.

El Camino Hospital is accepting applications for the FY19 grant cycle. Applications are due by 5:00 pm (PST), Thursday, February 22, 2018. The FY19 grant cycle spans July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019. Grant notification will occur by mid to late June, 2018.

Applicants will also need to download the Budget Template Form (Microsoft Excel) and upload the completed form in the “Budget” section of the online application.
