Community Benefit Program

Community Benefit Program

In addition to providing high-quality medical care to our community, El Camino Hospital commits resources to our community for health education and disease prevention, particularly to the underserved and at risk. Through our Community Benefit Program, El Camino Hospital offers grants and sponsorships to programs that meet the specific needs of our local population.

Eligible Programs

Eligible organizations include nonprofits, government-sponsored health programs, school districts and community coalitions with a history of service to the residents of our community.

To qualify for funding, your program must address an identified health need within one of the following four funding priorities:

  • Healthcare access
  • Mental health
  • Healthy eating and physical activity
  • Community health education/health literacy

Programs should be effective, open to collaboration, efficient and able to demonstrate measurable success.
