The Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) Program will be hosting an Elder Summit at El Camino Hospital.

The Elder Summit aims to empower both clinicians and community members to improve the well-being of seniors. This is an all-day resource fair open to the community and clinicians. This free event includes lectures, demonstrations and information. Topics and events including:

  • Acupressure
  • Senior Balance and Exercise
  • Dysphagia and Aspiration Pneumonia
  • Dementia
  • Making living arrangements for seniors
  • Community resources

This event is pending RN CE approval. Lecture space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Non–El Camino Hospital employees wishing to apply for CME credit will be charged $10 / CE. Payment will be collected during the event.
