Total Control - Pelvic Health Class
Tuesday April 9, 2013
5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Nearly one in four American women will experience a pelvic disorder, and the risk rises with age and childbirth. So as part of our ongoing commitment to women's health, we've teamed up with Total Controlâ„¢ to offer a clinically proven exercise and educational program designed to help you improve your pelvic health and learn more about how it can affect your overall well being and comfort.

Pelvic disorders can lead to incontinence, abnormal uterine bleeding, pain, and even lack of fertility. In addition, many women are not even aware they have a pelvic problem until the issue is fairly advanced.

Our classes combine education and gentle exercise. Taught by El Camino Hospital therapists who have undergone specialized training, the classes will help you strengthen muscles to achieve a strong pelvic core, flatter abs, and improved bladder control.

The one-hour workout is followed by a brief educational discussion of nutritional, behavioral, and lifestyle changes that can have a positive impact on pelvic health. In the privacy of the class setting, women discover a supportive environment where they can share their most embarrassing moments and take pride in their successes. Class meets twice weekly for seven weeks.

Next session runs from:
April 13, 2013 through May 23, 2013
