El Camino Health partners with Lyft to help meet the need for affordable transportation for local seniors and community members. RoadRunners dispatchers will schedule, address riders' questions and bill users without requiring the use of a smartphone for a Lyft scheduled ride. There is a $3.00 surcharge for Lyft rides.
RoadRunners can also schedule Lyft Assisted rides which place a client with a driver who can provide additional support. Riders who request this additional support will also be able to request financial assistance for it if necessary. Lyft Assisted is an additional $6.00 per ride. These rides must be within a 10-mile radius of El Camino Health’s hospital in Mountain View.
