Making Admissions Easy

Within your last few months of pregnancy, your physician will give you a pre-admission package from El Camino Hospital containing certain forms to be returned to the hospital at least one month prior to your due date. Your information will be processed, your insurance verified, and arrangements will be made for you to enter the hospital. We can let you know by return postcard that your admission process is complete. This will make admission into the hospital as easy as possible for you.

Register ahead of time. Don’t wait until you come to the hospital in labor to submit this information to us. You can mail it to us or visit the registration office at the hospital in advance.

Birth certificates for people born at El Camino Hospital Mountain View or El Camino Hospital Los Gatos may be obtained from the Santa Clara County Office of the Recorder by calling 408-299-2481.
