El Camino Hospital's lactation centers are staffed by experienced registered nurses who are lactation consultants.

The Maternal Connection store (retail services) offers weekly and monthly rentals of hospital-grade breast pumps, sales of home-use breast pumps and other breastfeeding items, as well as specialized clothing and other supplies for nursing mothers and premature infants. You do not need to have had your baby at El Camino Hospital to use these services.
Lactation services offers a community room where support groups are held and scales are available for weight checks. The lactation consultants make follow-up calls for mothers and for babies discharged from the nursery; they also schedule outpatient lactation appointments. A lactation consultant is available for quick breastfeeding checks from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays (in a group setting).
