HealthPerks is the Women's Hospital membership program that offers health information and resources, including: a monthly newsletter, information on lectures and screenings, age specific education, special gifts, discounts at healthy businesses in the community, membership to the Health Library and Resource Center and more!

HealthPerks is geared towards women and focuses on women's health issues but includes many benefits so everyone is encouraged to join. There is a lifetime $25 membership fee.

As a HealthPerks member, you receive benefits at El Camino Hospital as well as benefits at local businesses related to healthy living. Our benefits are grouped into the categories of health, fitness and well-being.

El Camino Hospital Benefits:

• Blood Pressure – One of our registered nurses conducts FREE blood pressure readings every Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM in the main lobby/registration area of El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. There is no fee, and no appointment is needed.
• Private Consultation with a Dietician (30 minutes FREE) – Our dietician will meet with you in a private consultation to review your current diet and evaluate your nutritional status. During the session you will develop personal nutritional goals, create a plan to reach them, work on how to plan meals (at home and when dining out), get answers to questions regarding vitamins and supplements, and receive recipes to help you meet your goals. • Health Library Membership – El Camino Hospital’s Health Library and Resource Center offers books, medical and consumer health journals, DVDs and CD-ROMs. Trained medical librarians are on hand to answer questions. • Quarterly Screenings – The Women’s Hospital, Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center and other El Camino Hospital services conduct FREE screenings throughout the year. HealthPerks members will receive VIP advanced invitations and priority scheduling.
• Eldercare Consultation (30 minutes FREE) – for those needing help caring for an aging parent, family member or friend facing life changes. Consultants assist in developing a long range personalized plan based on your family’s situation. Call 650-940-7210 to schedule an appointment.
• Healing Arts Program: Art Therapy – Art practitioners use visual art to help patients better cope with stress and enjoy the pleasures of the creative process. Using a variety of media, including drawing, painting, collage, and other art projects, patients have the option of creating their own work of art or co-creating a work based on their personal experiences and suggestions. No previous experience necessary. Call Jean Altman, guest services coordinator, at 650-962-5836 to schedule an art therapy session for a friend or loved one in the hospital.  Art practitioners are available three days per week.
• Health Beat Magazine – You’ll be added to our mailing list for the Hospital’s quarterly newsletter Health Beat. The newsletter is filled with information on hospital services, new technologies, classes and support groups and other special events.
• Health Education Series on Women’s Health Topics – HealthPerks members will receive valuable health information on important women’s health issues on a regular basis through email, podcasts and health lectures. We have included a flyer about this program in your welcome packet.
• Cancer Center Boutique – Shop at the wonderful boutique located in the lobby of our Cancer Center in the Melchor Pavilion (Suite 111) in Mountain View and receive 10 percent off on your purchase of $50 or more. The Cancer Center Boutique has a lovely selection of gift items in addition to specialty items for those living with cancer.
