Kidney Stone Treatment
At our Los Gatos campus we treat several hundred kidney stone cases a year and have one of the busiest stone centers in the Bay Area. We offer a full range of treatments for the removal of kidney stones including:
- Extracorporal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)
- Intracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy with holmium laser (ISWL)
Treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
There are many effective treatments for BPH, ranging from medications to minimally invasive outpatient procedures. El Camino Hospital offers three different outpatient procedures to treat this problem.
El Camino Hospital Los Gatos is also the only hospital in Northern California to acquire the newest and most sophisticated treatment for BPH, the GreenLight XPS Laser technology, making it available to urologists 24/7. We are one of only four centers of education for GreenLight Laser in the country and perform the highest volume of BPH GreenLight laser procedures in California.
We have experts in treating urologic malignancies that offer patients a wide range of traditional techniques and minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of prostate, kidney, bladder, adrenal, and testicular cancers.
Surgical and Nonsurgical Treatment for Incontinence
Men and Women
Both men and women experience incontinence - partial or full loss of bladder control. Treatments range from nonsurgical options such as exercise, behavioral modifications or medications; to minimally invasive microwave or laser treatments; to surgical options.

The Men's Health Program is the only program in Santa Clara County focused on sensitive male urologic health issues, led by board-certified urologists and supported by a hospital-based urology specialty.
