El Camino Hospital's dialysis centers have been providing dialysis services since 1968. We serve the patients of more than 35 local nephrologists and offer them the best in care by providing innovative treatment protocols.
Our care is driven by a clinical management teams that are comprised of physicians, medical directors, registered nurses, social workers, dietitians, nephrology technologists, patient care technologists and administrators. Our focused and caring medical team means superior outcomes for our patients.
A unique service we bring to our dialysis patients is home hemodialysis. We were the first non-academic center to offer hemodialysis in the 1960s and we continue to be innovators to discover the best ways to treat dialysis patients.
Our home hemodialysis service offers full support for all home therapies, including hemodialysis for patients at night, during sleep. Night time hemodialysis offers patients the benefit of four times the removal of wastes, it's done more slowly and gently, and it allows patients to free up their daytime for other activities.
