About Our Program
The Addiction Services Program is an evening outpatient program serving adults with a substance abuse/chemical dependency problem. It is designed to treat professionals, students and others who cannot attend treatment during regular business hours.
The program offers state-of-the-art, evidence-based treatment. We use a "Stages of Change" model that promotes the power of individuals to change their behavior, in a non-judgmental and supportive setting.
One of the distinct benefits of our program is that the staff is comprised of licensed psychotherapists, masters-level registered nurses, and masters- or doctorate-level psychotherapy interns. This enables us to provide a full range of psychiatric assessment and treatment for symptoms co-occurring with the substance use disorder. Working with a licensed therapist specializing in addiction treatment, patients in our program receive comprehensive individualized care. Additionally, there is a psychiatrist on staff so patients can receive a full assessment of symptoms.
Many people abuse substances as a method of treating anxiety or depression, and it is important that these symptoms be addressed in treatment. This allows for a more holistic approach to addiction.
