At El Camino Hospital, our nurses are specialists in bariatric nursing, and they not only have the latest skills and knowledge but also are passionate about helping you gain greater well-being. They will be your constant resource helping in your immediate recovery and preparing you to assume a new way of living when you leave our facility.
You’ll receive detailed instructions on caring for your incisions, pain management and instruction/adherence to the new eating habits you’ll be establishing. Most patients can resume normal work activities within two to three weeks after weight loss surgery.
