Dr. Wetter received his medical education at St. Bartholomew's Medical School in London, England. He completed his residency at London University Affiliated Hospitals and at the University of California, San Francisco.
In his native England, Dr. Wetter served as chief resident at Colchester General Hospital and at St. Mark’s Hospital. He completed a fellowship in hepatobiliary surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, receiving specialty training in endoscopic, vascular and laparoscopic surgery.
