The Women and Heart Disease event on Wednesday, February 12th had over 70 attendees, who enjoyed a "talk show" style discussion with cardiologists Cate Collings, MD, Jane Lombard, and cardiothoracic surgeon Pei Tsau, MD, moderated by Nurse Barb Dehn. Discussion topics included the prevention and treatment of heart disease, signs and symptoms of a heart attack and Takotsubos, a stress induced heart attack. Three patients shared their stories and answered audience questions.
