Life Saving Tips about Peripheral Vascular Disease

2/17/2010 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
New Hospital Building Ground floor, Meeting Rooms F and G
Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) affects over 10 million Americans annually and can lead to other health problems that include heart attack, stroke, kidney malfunction, aneurysms, leg pain and limb loss.

PVD is a slow and progressive circulation disorder.  The legs and feet are most commonly affected by the disease, which in some cases can lead to limb amputation.

We invite you to learn about this serious health problem in a comprehensive lecture by Dr. James Joye, Director of Research & Education of the Heart & Vascular Institute at El Camino Hospital.  Dr. Joye is a nationally recognized clinician and educator in the field of cardiac and vascular medicine and he will share his insights regarding proper screening, diagnosis, and treatment of PVD.

Dr. Joye will be available to answer your questions following his presentation.
