El Camino Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute

Our Heart and Vascular Institute is a destination for patients and physicians alike. Every case is jointly reviewed by at least two, and often more, of our world-class heart specialists. For patients needing treatment, that may lead to a procedure in our state-of-the-art Cath Lab, like angioplasty or a stent. Or it may lead to the Operating Room for bypass or valve repair. It might even lead to a revolutionary hybrid procedure in which our experts perform a cath procedure first in order to enable a safer, less invasive operation later. Very few hospitals can claim to offer this type of life-saving collaboration. And even fewer can claim the successful results that we can.
