Jessica Arline - Project Coordinator
Jessica Arline currently serves as Project Coordinator for the Genomic Medicine Institute at El Camino Hospital. Previously, Ms. Arline worked as a Government Relations Representative for El Camino Hospital, specializing in health care legislative affairs. She was also a Government Relations Coordinator for the Chamber of Commerce Mountain View. Ms. Arline holds a BA in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of California at Los Angeles, and is currently pursuing an MA in Public Administration at San Jose State University.
Lily Servais, MS, LCGC, Genetic Counselor
Lily Servais, MS, LCGC serves as genetic counselor for the Genomic Medicine Institute at El Camino Hospital through DNA Direct, an Express Scripts Company. She received her master's degree in genetic counseling from California State University-Stanislaus in 2010. She is board-certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and holds a California state license in genetic counseling. She has a bachelor's degree in genetics and biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also serves as a consulting genetic counselor for the biotech marketing firm Genomic Strategy Consulting. She is an active member of the National Society of Genetic Counseling. In addition to her genetic counseling training, Lily has three years of experience in health information and three years of experience working with people with disabilities, which gives her a unique perspective on patient care.
Carmela Thompson, MS, LCGC, Genetic Counselor
Carmela has been a practicing genetic counselor since 2011 prior to completing her graduate program at California State University, Stanislaus, and has been board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and licensed by the state of California since 2012. Carmela started her career in genetics in 1997 creating custom genes in Operon Technology’s laboratory, followed by joining Qiagen Co. as a Field Application Scientist in diagnostic genetic testing. In January of 2012, Carmela started a private genetic counseling practice, and came to El Camino Hospital as an in-house genetic counselor in 2014.
