Early Detection Screenings

Last Updated 11/20/2012 11:54:02 AM

The best chance anyone has in fighting cancer is in preventing it.

Our risk reduction program includes a targeted screening service that includes a detailed interview and assessment by a specially trained nurse practitioner. We will communicate with your primary care physician to make sure we are all working together as a team to reduce your risk of cancer.

Some screening services and technologies we offer:

As part of our commitment to improve the health of our community, we also have physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners who will speak to community groups, companies and other organizations. These free community education programs are part of our promise to help you learn what you can do to prevent cancer.

Another important part of our outreach is our free Health Library & Resource Center. Our health librarians can help you navigate complex - and sometimes contradictory - health information to find the most appropriate information for your situation. The center offers books, videotapes, classes and Internet access to help you search for information about cancer and treatment breakthroughs.
