Auxiliary Scholarships

The El Camino Hospital Auxiliary and Foundation offer several scholarships to qualified applicants in our community.

The scholarships for the 2009/2010 school year were awarded in April 2009.

The next scholarship application period for the 2010/2011 school year will begin in the autumn of 2009. Information and application materials will be made available on this web page in the autumn of 2009.

To be eligible for some of the scholarships, you must be either: a permanent resident within the El Camino Hospital District, which includes the cities of Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Cupertino; or a permanent resident of California.  El Camino Hospital employees (do not have to live in the district) and immediate family members of an El Camino Hospital employee are also eligible for Health Profession Scholarships.

All applicants MUST BE UNITED STATES CITIZENS OR PERMANENT RESIDENTS.

To receive an award, you must be a full time student (12+units) in the academic year for the year you are applying, in a health professional program as listed below and be attending an accredited California college or university.

Accepted fields of study are:

  • Clinical Laboratory Technology
  • Dietitian
  • Nursing
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Pharmacy
  • Pharmacy Technology
  • Physical Therapy
  • Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Radiation Oncology Technology
  • Radiologic Technology
  • Respiratory Therapy
