Adult volunteers need to complete an application form (see below), have a personal interview with an Auxiliary Placement Counselor, and then pass a background check and a health check, both provided by the hospital at no charge to the applicant. Adult membership requires an annual $20 fee and a commitment of 12 hours per month, for a minimum of six months. Most Auxiliary volunteers also wear a uniform, part of which may be purchased in the Auxiliary office.
