What Is the Magic of Volunteering?
At El Camino Hospital Mountain View and El Camino Hospital Los Gatos, it may be the satisfaction of giving hours of your time as an Auxilian. Perhaps it means participating as a committee member for a Foundation project that raises funds to help underprivileged children receive vaccines. It could also mean working with the hospital's Chaplaincy to provide patients with spiritual support, grief counseling or acting as a liaison to local faith communities.
All of these opportunities and many more are available to you as a volunteer at El Camino Hospital. We have more than 1,400 volunteers, who give countless hours and energy to make our community hospital one of the best in the country. Won't you share some of your magic to help your community?

Orientation and training are provided, and volunteers benefit from free access to hospital resources, including classes offered through the education department. It's a wonderful job for an outgoing individual who enjoys interacting with people and likes to be active.
