The Nursing Research Council has staff nurse representation from all inpatient and outpatient units. More than 30 members attend our monthly meetings.
The Nursing Research Council works closely with the hospital IRB and Clinical Trails Operation Committee to oversee and support nursing research and quality improvement process and activities.
Our Mission
To promote a culture of inquiry that supports the purposeful use of evidence-based nursing practice, which drives best individual patient care decisions to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Our Goals
- To celebrate nursing research innovation resulting in improved patient care.
- To empower nurses with the skills and knowledge to understand and engage in nursing research.
- To lead in evidenced-based practice implementation throughout the organization.
