Nursing at El Camino Hospital

Last Updated 8/10/2009 5:05:40 PM

Diana Russell, MSN, RN, Chief Clinical Officer/ Chief Nursing OfficerWe take pride in the fact that the American Nursing Credentialing Center awarded El Camino Hospital the designation of Magnet Nursing Excellence in 2005, making us the first Bay Area hospital to receive such distinction. Less than 5 percent of hospitals worldwide achieve this designation for their nursing care.

Our more than 1000 RNs care for patients based on a Professional Practice Model in which the patient is at the center of everything we do. The safety and well being of our patients is our utmost concern. Nurses at El Camino constantly develop their skills and knowledge base to be leaders in nursing care, to bring innovation to the bedside and to optimize care for patients and their families. Nurses at our new campus, El Camino Hospital Los Gatos, adhere to these same patient care, practice goals and values.
