Neurologist Dr. Peter Fung, medical director of the stroke program, provides an overview of stroke care at El Camino Hospital. El Camino Hospital was one of the first hospitals nationwide to be recognized by the American Stroke Association as a "Get with the Guidelines" Stroke Hospital. The hospital has also received the Gold Seal of Approval for Stroke Care from The Joint Commission, which certifies disease-specific programs.
