A few weeks before an election that could result in a cap on executive pay, El Camino Hospital announced Tuesday that it had reached an agreement with its internal registered nurses union. The hospital and the Professional Resource for Nurses (PRN) had been in negotiations for several months and the new contract includes compensation and benefits changes, according to hospital spokeswoman Chris Ernst. She told Mountain View Patch that there will be another announcement soon about an agreement with the Service Employees International Union, which "is in the works."
