Ron Mirenda is the interim leader of the El Camino Hospital Foundation. Mr. Mirenda brings more than 30 years of fund-raising, strategic-planning, public relations and communications experience to the hospital. For 15 years he served in senior leadership or development roles with prestigious institutions such as the University of Chicago, Case Western Reserve University, Provenant Health Partners and the University of St. Thomas. For 14 years, he has served as a principal with nationwide fund-raising firms providing consultative services to nationally recognized clients, including the University of Michigan Medical Center, Children's Hospital Foundation of Wisconsin, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco the Smithsonian Institution, and many others. Mr. Mirenda is a member and past president of the Colorado Chapter of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives, and the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy. He holds both a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration and Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota.
