Members of the Legacy Society gathered at Los Altos Golf and Country Club on November 13 for their annual luncheon. It was an occasion to honor those who have made planned gifts to the Foundation in order to ensure the future of El Camino Hospital for the community. Eighty members attended the festive occasion, feasting on roasted salmon, grilled chicken or spinach ravioli and enjoying an enchanting performance by Mady Kahn, who sang uplifting show tunes from Finnian's Rainbow, Phantom of the Opera and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.
The assembled guests met new Foundation President Jodi Barnard, who introduced herself and spoke briefly about El Camino Hospital's plans to expand behavioral health services and opportunities for the Foundation to support those efforts. Hospital CEO Tomi Ryba gave a "state of the hospital" report, proudly noting that the hospital was recently named one of the nation's Top Performers on Key Quality Measures® for 2012 by The Joint Commission.
If you have made a planned gift to El Camino Hospital but have not yet informed the Foundation, please let us know so we can include you in future Legacy Society events. If you are interested in learning more about legacy giving, please contact Executive Director Lindsay Ehrman at 650-988-7849.
