Benefits of Working at El Camino Hospital
At El Camino Hospital, our mission is to be an innovative, publicly accountable and locally controlled comprehensive healthcare organization that cares for the sick, relieves suffering, and provides quality, cost-competitive services to improve the health and well-being of our community. By bringing the most talented people to work with us, we know we can accomplish this goal.
For almost 50 years, El Camino Hospital has maintained its preferred workplace status by blending cutting-edge technology with high quality patient care. As an independent, locally governed, not-for-profit hospital, El Camino answers only to the needs of the community. Our pride comes from allowing our employees to fulfill their personal call to care with each patient they serve.
In April 2009, we acquired, renovated, and re-opened the
Los Gatos campus, and in November 2009, we opened our seismically safe
Mountain View facility. Our organization has a long history of contributing to the South Bay community; we will continue to enhance our contributions to the community in the years to come. El Camino Hospital is more than just a single hospital with two campuses, but the creation of a visionary healthcare destination that provides coordinated and easy access to the latest medical treatments. So if you are looking for career growth at a place that continues to flourish, El Camino Hospital is the right choice.
Areas of Specialty
Our nationally recognized and pioneering programs are available to our community because of our extraordinary team of distinguished staff and affiliated physicians. We understand the value of the people who make El Camino the outstanding hospital it is today. We offer a full range of services including Behavioral Health, Cancer Center, South Asian Heart Center, Fogarty Institute, Stroke Center, Women's Services, Heart and Vascular Institute, and many other community-based programs.
New Graduate RN Program
We hire a limited number of new grad RNs. New grad RNs are hired throughout the year and are hired for our Mountain View campus only. New grads may be considered for our medical, surgical, telemetry, maternity, and nursery units. Our critical care departments do not hire new grads. Only new grads who have completed their program and have an Interim Permittee or Registered Nurse license are reviewed by hiring managers. You can apply for a Clinical Nurse II position and should include your graduation date and scheduled NCLEX date. Unfortunately, due to the large number of new grad applications we receive, we are unable to respond to requests about the status of your application. If the hiring manager is considering new graduates for the position, you will be contacted.
