Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. The two most common types are basal cell cancer and squamous cell cancer. They usually form on the head, face, neck, hands and arms. It's more common among people with a light (fair) skin tone, but skin cancer can affect anyone. Skin cancer can affect both men and women.
At this free screening, an El Camino Hospital dermatologist will scan you from head to toe and refer you for follow up if there are any areas of concern.
Open to participants 18 and older only. Screenings are offered on the first and third Monday of each month. No walk-ins will be admitted.
