The publicly elected El Camino Hospital District Board of Directors meetings are held once a quarter following the Hospital Board of Directors Meetings which are held the second Wednesday of each month and begin at 5:30 pm at El Camino Hospital in the back of the cafeteria. Notice to Fill Vacancy on the Board of Directors of El Camino Hospital District
Mark O’Connor resigned his position on the El Camino Hospital District Board effective February 28th. On April 20, 2010 at a Special Meeting of the Board of the El Camino Hospital District, the remaining District Board members will appoint a new Board member. The term of the new Board member will end in November, but he/she would have the opportunity to run for a regular four-year term of office in the November 2010 election.
Any person interested in filling the vacancy on the District Board must be a registered voter in the El Camino Hospital District and must send in his or her application to:

Applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 1, 2010. References and recommendations are encouraged. During this time, an opportunity is provided for persons in the audience to make a brief statement to the Board, not to exceed 3 minutes, on issues or concerns within the jurisdiction of the Board but not otherwise covered by the agenda.
